I keep saying I am going to write this post about OhCha Noodle Bar, but I really feel like the pictures speak better for it than I will.

OhCha is located on the ground floor of Westgate Mall in Westlands, and are expanding into outside seating areas, having already started doing deliveries.

They also have a new branch open in Village Market.

I like various features about this place, like the quick make-it-yourself menu; I liked the service, though I haven’t been back since opening week.

The Tom Kha soup and the spring rolls (I ate EVERYONE’s) were very good. The melange of flavours, for all the meals, is robust yet delicate. I like the nuts they use – who doesn’t like a good nut? – and their ingredients taste fresh, like the young papaya in the papaya salad. And yes – they have a special for Nairobi Restaurant Week but honestly, just go before then.
(also I couldn’t even finish that chicken cashew nut dish. The portion was HUGE. Great first date food, am I right? Sharing and romance. Awwwww. #dontSayIdidntTellYou #ifYouDidntKnowNowYouKnow #ValentinesDayComingUp #whatchuKnowAboutThat)
